Sounds of the Season


The 17th annual Sounds of the Season Christmas Concert in Cape Girardeau raised $38,000 to help support Southeast Cancer Center patients. Since its inception in 1996, the concert has raised $207,000 to help area cancer patients.

The SoutheastHEALTH Foundation event annually draws over 700 people. This year’s concert was held on Dec. 2 at the Cape Bible Chapel.

The concert featured Master of Ceremonies Mike Dumey and top vocal and dance talent. Cape Girardeau orthodontist and cancer survivor Dr. David Crowe served as the honorary chairperson.
