Southeast Hospital, Arts Council Offer ‘Art for the Health of It’
A Southeast Hospital hallway once again has become a mini art gallery thanks to the 2013 “Art for the Health of It” juried exhibit. The artwork – everything from paintings to photographs – decorates the walls outside the Surgical Waiting room on the Hospital’s first floor.
The artwork – 36 pieces in all – will be exhibited until April 25. Now in its 20th year, “Art for the Health of It” is a partnership of SoutheastHEALTH and the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri. Prizes for the juried exhibit are provided by Southeast and the Cape Girardeau County Medical Society and Alliance.
Most of the artwork is for sale. For more information, call 573-334-9233.
