SoutheastHEALTH to Host Session on Colon Cancer Prevention


Did you know that one in 20 men and women born today will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer during their lifetime? Excluding skin cancers, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States.

SoutheastHEALTH will hold an informational session on colon cancer prevention on Wednesday, March 27, at 6:30 p.m. in the Harrison Room at Southeast Hospital.

Join C. Brent Keller, DO, of Southeast Gastroenterology and oncology dietitian Tricia Friess, RD, LD, of the Southeast Cancer Center to learn more about colon cancer, risk factors, the importance of a healthy diet and steps you can take to lower your risk of colon cancer.
