Michele Litzelfelner has joined the SoutheastHEALTH Foundation as Development Officer.
She most recently served as Spiritual Growth Director for New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. Michele’s experience also includes serving as a private banker with Montgomery Bank and Event Coordinator at Bent Creek Golf Course.
SoutheastHEALTH Foundation Executive Director Mary Burton-Hitt said Michele brings many assets to her position. “She is dedicated to caring about people and embraces the culture and focus of the Foundation to truly make a difference in the lives of those we serve.”
Michele added that she chose to become a part of the Foundation team because “relationships are extremely important to me. I genuinely care about people – understanding their needs and concerns. SoutheastHEALTH is a natural fit.”
A resident of Jackson, Michele is active in her community. She is a member of the Jackson Chamber of Commerce and served as Class President for Leadership Jackson 2011. She also is a member of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Michele served as a member and past president of the Friends of Saint Francis Board. She and her husband, Rob, are members of New McKendree United Methodist Church.
The SoutheastHEALTH Foundation was organized in 1977 to help ensure the future of healthcare in our region. The Foundation Board of Directors consists of 30 members, volunteers who provide oversight of fundraising projects and manage allocation of Foundation funds to enhance the excellence of healthcare and meet the region’s healthcare needs.
