Cardiac Surgeons Join Medical Staff

Dr. George BerberianCardiac Surgeon George Berberian, MD, Joins SoutheastHEALTH Medical Staff

George Berberian, MD, Cardiothoracic Surgery, has joined the medical staff at SoutheastHEALTH. He is affiliated with Southeast Cardiac and Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Berberian holds a BA degree in Biochemistry and Poli­tics from New York University in New York City. He received his MD degree from the New York University School of Med­icine.

Dr. Berberian completed an internship and residency in surgery at New York University Medical Center. He also completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Rob­ert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J., and an advanced fellowship in mitral valve repair at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

He is board certified in thoracic and cardiac surgery.

His professional memberships include the Society of Thoracic Surgeons; Fellow, American College of Surgeons; and the New York Society for Thoracic Surgery.


Dr. Paul RobisonCardiac Surgeon Paul Robison, MD, Joins SoutheastHEALTH Medical Staff

Paul D. Robison, MD, MMM, FACS, FACC, FACCP, Cardiothorac­ic Surgery, has joined the medical staff of SoutheastHEALTH. He is affiliated with Southeast Cardiac and Vascular Surgery.

Dr. Robison began his higher education at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. He earned his MD degree at the Uni­versity of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City.

He completed an internship and surgical residency at the University of Texas Teaching Hospital in San Antonio. Dr. Ro­bison also completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at University of Utah College of Medicine in Salt Lake City. In addition, he holds a master of medical management degree from the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California, Los Angeles.

He is board certified in surgery and thoracic and cardiac surgery.

Dr. Robison’s professional memberships include Fellow, American College of Surgeons; American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
