SoutheastHEALTH will host a free seminar, “Learning about Essential Tremor,” on Saturday, Oct. 26, in Southeast Hospital’s Harrison Room.
Movement disorders neurologist Robert Gardner Jr., MD, of Neurological Associates of Cape Girardeau and physician assistant Patrick Hammond, PA-C, of Regional Brain and Spine will speak at the seminar. Catherine Rice, International Essential Tremor Foundation executive director, will facilitate the program.
The seminar will focus on the diagnosis process, treatment options and current research concerning essential tremor. The seminar is open to the general public. Check-in will begin at 8:45 a.m. The two-hour program will start at 9:30 a.m., and conclude with a question-and-answer session.
