SoutheastHEALTH has appointed Ken Tifft as executive director of Materials Management and Operations. The hiring was announced on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
“Ken brings a wealth of experience in supply chain management in healthcare systems to SoutheastHEALTH and we look forward to his contributions to both logistics and supply cost management,” she said.
Ken most recently was affiliated with the WellStar Health System in Marietta, Ga. He holds a degree in business administration with an emphasis on finance and a master of science degree in supply chain management and logistics from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

“I have devoted my career to working in healthcare systems that show a caring commitment to both patients and employees,” Ken said. “I am excited to become part of the team at SoutheastHEALTH and to help advance the mission of ‘making a difference’ in Cape Girardeau.”
He added that he “looks forward to joining the Materials Management department and supporting them as we provide a high level of service to our customers through our strong partnership with clinicians and physicians at SoutheastHEALTH. My family and I are eager to make Cape Girardeau our home and look forward to becoming involved in this quality community.”
