Upgrading Healthcare in Ripley County

Technology, Renovations Transform Ripley County Health Center

New technology and major renovations have transformed the Southeast Health Center of Ripley County into a modern health center under the management of SoutheastHEALTH.

Our health system has invested more than $1 million in new equipment and technology at the rural hospital over the past year. New computers have been installed throughout the Doniphan, Mo., hospital and its affiliated health clinic. Work continues on landscaping the health center grounds. The parking lot has been upgraded with a new coat of concrete.

Major Improvements

Renovations to the facility include a new employee entrance and hospital lobby. Southeast has upgraded imaging services dramatically, replacing a one-slice CT scanner with a 64-slice scanner and opening a new radiology department. The health center has been outfitted with a new clinical lab and a new nurses’ station. Hallways and patient rooms have been renovated, and the cafeteria for employees and visitors has been completely remodeled. Upgrades are planned this year for the health center’s emergency services area.

It’s all part of SoutheastHEALTH’s commitment to the healthcare region it serves.
