• Collect initial patient information
• Page the on-call physician for requested service
• Determine clinical reason for transfer
• Arrange physician to physician contact

With everyone on line, we can ...

• Secure a bed
• Ask sending hospital to fax demographic sheet and any necessary paper work
• Obtain orders
• Provide patient room number
