Brian Gilliland of Millersville, Mo., has been named Director of Facilities and Construction for SoutheastHEALTH after serving as interim director of facilities management for the past four and a half months.
Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Sly Moore announced Brian’s new role on June 25, 2012. “Brian has been a positive contributor in each role he has held over his years with Southeast. Now he is energized by this new challenge,” Moore said. “Brian will bring positive change through process improvement, employee development and engagement, fiscal accountability and general leadership of the team.”
In his position as director, Brian will provide focused leadership for engineering, facilities maintenance, construction and the environment of care for SoutheastHEALTH.
Brian said, “I look forward to the challenge that this new opportunity provides while continuing to serve and meet the needs of all patients, physicians, staff and visitors at SoutheastHEALTH and provide a safe environment of care.”
Brian has been employed with SoutheastHEALTH for more than 22 years. He served as director of Environmental Services for 15 years. From 2005 to 2011, he served as director of Safety & Telecommunications. Most recently, he headed up facilities management.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 1985. Brian and his wife Jennifer have two sons: Jordan, 14, and Austin, 11.
