Mike Kohlfeld grilled some 3,800 wieners for SoutheastHEALTH’s annual Hot Dog Day on Tuesday. Mike was aided in the hot job on the huge, wood-fired grill by SoutheastHEALTH employees Scott Givens and Bruce Collier. Pictured are Scott (foreground) and Mike. A member of the SoutheastHEALTH Board of Directors, Mike used ash lumber to fuel the fire. “It burns real hot and there’s not as much smoke,” he notes. As in past years, the grilling was done in the Hospital’s parking garage, starting early in the morning. Mike has been grilling hot dogs for Southeast Hospital employees for the past 15 years. He says he loves doing it.
