December 29, 2014

1000th_deliveryJason and Christina Taylor of Lilbourn, Mo., received a special surprise for Christmas. Christina gave birth to a son, John Luke, on Wednesday, Dec. 24. It was the 1,000th delivery at Southeast Hospital this year.

John Luke weighed 6 lbs., 12 oz., and was 19.5 inches long. “He is our Christmas blessing,” Christina says, adding that the delivery date had been projected for Jan. 12, 2015.

Both Jason and Christina say the early arrival was just fine with them. Jason says, “We thank God with blessing us with a baby. That’s the most important thing.”

John Luke is the couple’s second son. Their first son, Noah, is 9 years old.

Christina’s regular obstetrician is Dianne S. Woolard, MD, of Southeast Obstetrics/Gynecology. The baby was delivered by obstetrician Chris Rosenquist, MD, of Women First of SoutheastHEALTH.
