5K & 8K Run / 1 Mile Memory Walk / Kids 1 Mile Fun Run

Run for Ragan, first held in 2012, as a biathlon (a 5K run and 17 mile bicycle ride), honors the late Ragan Ward Neilson, a Cape Girardeau native and the daughter of Dr. Robert and Barb Ward. Ragan died of breast cancer in October 2007 at the age of 32. The funds raised will help aid in the fight against breast cancer through early detection and will benefit SoutheastHEALTH Foundation’s Cancer Patient Experience Fund that provides necessary support and resources for current cancer patients and those that cannot afford preventive screening.
