About John Lake


A lifelong Missourian, Dr. Lake has nearly two decades of experience treating patients who have all forms of psychiatric illness, at all points of care. As Medical Director of the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at SoutheastHEALTH, he assisted patients through the most severe aspects of their illness, developing individualized treatment plans and providing leadership to a dedicated inter-disciplinary team of psychiatric professionals. Now, through his work in SoutheastHEALTH's outpatient office, he looks forward to establishing lasting, stable therapeutic relationships. Dr. Lake is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Eastern Missouri Psychiatric Association.
