"We are very pleased to partner with Kindred on a unit dedicated to supporting patients as they reach milestones along their journey to recovery," said SoutheastHEALTH President and CEO Ken Bateman. "We are fortunate to have a team of rehab caregivers second to none. The new partnership will bring care and support to a new level."

Bateman added that "Southeast's inpatient rehab unit stands out primarily because of our percentage of discharges to home, compared to discharges to skilled nursing, is better than national and regional averages. This is a testament to the quality of services we offer."
