During off hours, Dr. Beck enjoys spending time with his wife and their five children, and staying fit by playing tennis, running or practicing karate. When he's not listening to heartbeats, he enjoys composing musical beats (and melodies)—he has a passion for classical, rock and contemporary piano composition.
