Biography
As a family nurse practitioner, Cara serves the healthcare needs of patients of all ages and has experience addressing a variety of health issues—from treating diabetes and hypertension to making sure children are up-to-date on their immunizations. In her free time, Cara likes to stay busy in her community. She's a member of the Bernie Chamber of Commerce, the owner of a fitness center (where she teaches spin class and bootcamp) and an elementary volleyball and cheer coach. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. Cara is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is also certified in BLS. She's a member of the American Nurses Association, the Missouri Nurses Association and the Heartland Advanced Practice Nurses Network.
