At Southeast Cancer Center, we believe in the importance of ‘getting away’ from the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. That is why SoutheastHEALTH began hosting We Can Weekend nearly 35 years ago – to provide adults diagnosed with cancer a no-cost, three-day weekend to spend time with their families, caregivers and others in similar situations, while learning, recharging, relaxing and releasing.

We Can Weekend, held the Friday, Saturday and Sunday following Memorial Day is designed for adults who are currently undergoing cancer treatment or have completed treatment within the last two years and their immediate support system. Immediate support system includes spouse or significant other, those involved in the care of the person with cancer, children and grandchildren. Extended family is welcome if space is available.

This event is made possible by donations to We Can Weekend via Southeast Foundation as well as donations to its Cancer Care Fund
