Amy Brookover, DPT
Amy Brookover, DPT graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2010. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Management from Southeast Missouri State University in 2006. Amy has been a member of the HealthPoint Rehab team since 2010 and her main interest is working with patients with orthopedic conditions. She is trained in the Movement Systems Impairment system of physical therapy diagnosis and treatment. Amy has also taken several continuing education courses in the treatment of hand and elbow conditions.
Taylor Brotherton, MOT, OTR/L
Taylor Brotherton, MOT, OTR/L graduated from University of Missouri-
Columbia with a Master of Occupational Therapy in 2012. She joined the
HealthPoint Rehab team in 2012. Her primary area of practice is
pediatrics, and she is passionate about helping children thrive within
their daily environments. She has experience with conditions such as
autism, sensory disorders, cerebral palsy, and developmental delay.
Amy David, DPT, ATC
Dr. Amy David, DPT, ATC received a Bachelor of Health Administration with specialization in Athletic Training in 1999, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010 from Mount St. Mary’s University. She then went on to complete a post-doctorate residency specializing in Orthopedics. She continued her professional growth as a professor in the DPT program at Mount St. Mary’s University teaching Therapeutic Exercise and Therapeutic Modalities. Dr. David joined the HealthPoint Rehab team in 2016.
Brooke Deason, OTR/L
Brooke Deason, OTR/L graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Occupational Science in 2010 and a Master of Occupational Therapy degree
in 2012 from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She joined SE
Health in 2013 working in the hospital setting, where she still
practices the majority of the time treating adults in the acute care and
inpatient rehabilitation setting. She joined the HealthPoint Rehab team
in 2015, expanding into the outpatient pediatric setting. Brooke enjoys
working with a variety of adult and pediatric patients. She feels it
is of the utmost importance to work as a team in order to optimize
outcomes and help patients reach their highest functional potential.
Geoff Enders, DPT
Geoff Enders, DPT, received a Bachelor of Health Science in 2010 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 from Maryville University. He joined the HealthPoint Rehab team in 2015, and has experience in orthopedic physical therapy, industrial rehabilitation, and functional capacity evaluations. Geoff’s favorite part about being a physical therapist is helping patients return to activities they thought they would have to give up. Some of his hobbies include golfing, working out and running, and he recently completed his first marathon in December.
Malerie Essner, DPT
Malerie Essner, DPT graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Saint Louis University in 2010. She received a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Saint Louis University in 2008. Malerie has been a member of the HealthPoint Rehab team since 2012 and her main interest is working with patients with orthopedic conditions.
Paige Foeste, MA, CCC-SLP
Paige Foeste, MA, CCC-SLP graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Master of Arts Degree in Communication Disorders in 2012. She is a member of the American Speech Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in the state of Missouri. Paige has been a member of the HealthPoint Rehab team since 2012. She primarily works with the pediatric population. Paige’s areas of interest include speech and language disorders, oral motor disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, childhood/infant feeding disorders and autism spectrum disorders.
Angela Garrett, DPT, CLT
Angela Garrett, DPT, CLT graduated from Saint Louis University in
2010 with a Bachelor of Exercise Science and in 2012 with a Doctorate in
Physical Therapy degree. She joined SEHealth in 2013, first working in
the acute hospital setting before transferring the to the HealthPoint
Rehab team in 2015. Dr. Garrett has enjoyed working with a variety of
patients including pediatrics, orthopedics, neurological, and aquatics
since practicing. In 2015 she attended the Klose Training and Consulting
and received certification in Manual Lymph Drainage/Complete
Decongestive Therapy. Dr. Garrett’s area of focus is now oncology
rehabilitation and lymphedema management. Dr. Garrett is active in the
Turning Point program for breast cancer survivors and other support
groups/educational programs offered through Southeast Cancer Center.
Paula Givens, PT
Paula Givens, graduated in 1980 from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor Degree in Health Science-Physical Therapy. Her background includes work with pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients. She recently retired from full time work at First Steps in St. Louis. Her experience also includes work as a rehab therapist in NICU at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center. Her most recent advanced education courses include pediatric orthotics and pediatric neurology. She looks forward to continuing to help children reach their full potential in movement and proper alignment through the knowledge of orthotics, neurology, orthopedics, aquatic therapy and pediatric equipment at Health Point Rehab.
Angel Hase, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Angel Hase, PTA is a 2012 graduate of Southern Illinois
University- Carbondale where she received a degree as a Physical
Therapist Assistant. She is licensed in the states of Missouri and
Illinois and has been a member of the Healthpoint Rehab team since 2013.
Angel works primarily in oncology rehabilitation with a focus on
treatment of lymphedema, as well as in adult neurological
rehabilitation. She is proud to work with the Healthpoint Rehab team and
enjoys getting to know her patients while helping them to achieve their
physical therapy goals.
Chelsea Hubbard, MA, CCC-SLP
Chelsea Hubbard, MA, CCC-SLP graduated from Southeast Missouri State
University with a Master of Arts in Communication Disorders in 2014.
She is a member of the American Speech Language-Hearing Association, has
completed her Certificate of Clinical Competence, and is licensed in
the state of Missouri. She has been a member of the Healthpoint Rehab
team since 2015. She primarily works with the pediatric population.
Chelsea’s areas of interest are articulation and phonology disorders,
autism, oral motor disorders, expressive and receptive language delays,
and voice disorders. She enjoys working closely with children and their
families to provide knowledge and support to help increase
communication in their everyday lives.
Ashley Jones, MPT, MBA
Ashley Jones, MPT, MBA received a Bachelor of Health Science and a
Master of Physical Therapy in 2003 from Maryville University. She joined
the HealthPoint Rehab team in 2004. She received her Master of Business
Administration with an emphasis in Healthcare Management in 2011.
Ashley works with the orthopedic population. She has received training
in specialty areas including Myofascial Release and vestibular/balance
Allison Keith, PT
Allison Keith, PT graduated from Maryville University with a Bachelor
of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1988. Most of her experience
has been in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Allison works at
Healthpoint Rehab in Jackson and treats a variety of orthopedic and
neurologic conditions of adolescents and adults. She is the Center
Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE) for Healthpoint Rehab and is a
member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Vicki Keller, PT
Vicki graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a
Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1978. She has worked in a
variety of settings including acute care, pediatrics, long term care,
home health, and work hardening, but the majority of her career has been
in outpatient orthopedics. Vicki operated her own outpatient physical
therapy clinic for 12 years. She decided to close her business and
joined the HealthPoint team in April 2007. She has received special
education and training in the treatment of vestibular and balance
dysfunctions. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy
Association. She has served as secretary of the Southeast district of
the Missouri Physical Therapy Association and also as delegate to the
Aaron Kuehle, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Aaron Kuehle, PTA graduated from Penn Valley Community College in
Kansas City, MO in 1996 with an Associate degree as a Physical Therapist
Assistant. He initially worked in an acute care setting at Southeast
Hospital and joined the HealthPoint Rehab team in 1998. Aaron has
experience and continuing education in the treatment of adult
orthopedics, work conditioning and myofascial release conditions.
Ryan Livesay PTA, ACSM
Physical Therapist Assistant
Ryan Livesay PTA, ACSM is a 2009 graduate of Southern Illinois
University-Carbondale, where he received a degree as a Physical
Therapist Assistant. Since graduating from SIU, Ryan has experience in
the outpatient setting where he has enjoyed working with the spine and
various adult orthopedic conditions. In 2009, Ryan received his Personal
Trainer Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Ryan’s primary interest includes manual therapy, aquatic therapy, and
injury prevention. He is also an advocate in the transition from
physical therapy to fitness. Ryan joined HealthPoint Rehab in 2010 and
is a firm believer in the HealthPoint Rehab team approach that provides
patients with highest quality care.
Kristin McRaven, OTR/L
Kristin N. McRaven, OTR/L graduated from Saint Louis University with
a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 2002. She
joined the HealthPoint Rehab team in 2005. Her primary area of practice
is adult neurology, treating patients with traumatic brain injury,
stroke and spinal cord injuries. She has experience with other
conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, muscular sclerosis and carpal
tunnel syndrome. Additionally, she has experience with pediatrics and
enjoys seeing them achieve their highest potential. Kristin has been
trained in the use of the Bioness H200. She enjoys working with the
excellent staff to improve patient outcomes.
Kurt Pfefferkorn, MPT
Kurt Pfefferkorn, MPT received a Bachelor of Science degree in
psychology from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of
Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska
Medical Center. He has worked at HealthPoint Rehab since 2000 and
primarily works with the orthopedic patient population.
Kathleen Sebby, PTA
Physical Therapist Assistant
Kathleen Sebby, PTA graduated from Southeast Missouri State
University in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Recreation.
After working several years as a recreational coordinator, she returned
to Southern Illinois University and received her Associates degree as a
Physical Therapist Assistant in 1994. She initially worked in outpatient
and nursing home settings and joined the Healthpoint Rehab team in
1996. She works at both the Cape and Jackson locations and treats
primarily adult orthopedics and aquatic therapy patients.
Cathy Tanksley, MA, CCC/SLP, CPCRT
Catherine Tanksley, MA, CCC/SLP, CPCRT graduated from Southeast
Missouri State University with a Master of Arts in Speech Pathology in
1990. She maintains a certificate of clinical competence from the
American Speech Language-Hearing Association and is licensed in the
state of Missouri. She is also certified in the process of cognitive
rehabilitation by the Society of Cognitive Rehabilitation and Vital Stim
as well as LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) LOUD program. Her
clinical experience includes providing care to patients in the intensive
care, acute care, outpatient rehabilitation and long term care
settings. Cathy has been a member of the Healthpoint Rehab team since
1999. Her main focus of treatment includes swallowing disorders,
cognitive therapy, language disorders and voice disorders. She treats
both pediatric and adult patients.
Katrina Voelker, PT, MBA
Katrina Voelker, PT, MBA graduated from the University of
Missouri-Columbia in 1995 and has worked primarily in outpatient sports
medicine and orthopedics since that time. She was an assistant faculty
member in the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Linn State Technical
College while working in the Jefferson City area for 7 years. Katrina
has returned home and been a member of the Healthpoint Rehab team since
2002. In 2011, she received her Master of Business Administration with
an emphasis in Healthcare Management. She enjoys treating orthopedic and
spine patients. Katrina also provides Myofasical Release treatments for
patients with acute or chronic pain, headaches, or mobility
restrictions. She believes in taking extra time to explain to patients
their diagnosis, pathoanatomy and treatment plan so as to allow the
patient an opportunity to take ownership in their recovery and optimize
