Weight Management for Real Life
Many of us know how weight loss is supposed to work: You need to burn more calories than you take in. It sounds pretty simple. But making sense of all the advice on what to eat and how to build healthy lifestyle habits can be complex, if not downright confusing.
Our approach focuses on science-backed, time-proven strategies known to support healthy weight. We encourage moderation and balance over deprivation, and long-term habit change over quick-fix diets. That's how you achieve results that really stick.
Most important, we believe weight-loss plans are useful only when they fit your lifestyle. Our experts will help you figure out flexible strategies that work for your needs—whether you're a busy professional, a parent deep in the trenches of family life or a retiree. Together, we'll pinpoint challenges in your day-to-day habits and come up with sustainable solutions.
Our Weight-Loss Solutions
Most people come to us through our First Steps seminar. These free informational sessions are a chance to learn about the weight-loss programs HealthPoint Fitness offers. We'll work together to decide which one is the best fit for you. We'll also talk about next steps to get started on one of the following programs:
Starting Point. This medical weight-loss program includes weekly group classes that will teach you the skills you need to lose weight safely—and keep it off for good. You'll undergo regular health screenings to track your progress, and you'll meet with our experts for one-on-one support. A medical referral is required for this program.
Launch Pre-Surgery Weight Management. This program is the right fit if you need to lose weight before surgery. The 12-week program teaches healthy living strategies like good nutrition, exercise and lifestyle changes to help you get in better shape—and get the best possible outcome from your procedure. A medical referral is required.
Reclaim. If you've lost weight, regained it and are struggling to get back on track, then this program is a good choice for you.
Promoting Health in Teens (PHIT). For the teens in your life who are overweight, this program can help youth ages 13 to 17 navigate the unique challenges of adolescent obesity. A medical referral is required for this program.
